Start at the dramatic tip of Denmark where two seas meet at Grenen. Wild camping is possible in the dunes near Bunken Klitplantage forest. Try fresh smoked fish from the harbour before heading south along the west coast.
Hirtshals, Denmark

Rugged North Sea cliffs and wide sandy beaches make this stretch of coastline stunning on foot. Camp wild in the dunes or use a basic shelter hut along the Nordsøstien coastal path. The sea air and crashing waves make for excellent wild sleeping.
Løkken, Denmark

A charming old fishing village with one of Jutland's finest white sand beaches. The coastal path south passes dramatic bluffs and open heathland perfect for wild camping. Pick up supplies at the local bakery and watch tractors launch fishing boats straight off the beach.
Blokhus, Denmark

Finish your coastal walk at this classic Danish seaside town surrounded by pine plantation and massive dunes. The beach here is wide and flat, great for a final wild camp with a sunset over the North Sea. The Blokhus Klit dune landscape is a beautiful last-night spot under the stars.
