Morning: Start your day in Kaikōura with a refreshing walk along the stunning Kaikōura Peninsula Walkway. Witness the dramatic coastline and keep an eye out for seals basking on the rocky shores while enjoying breathtaking views of the ocean and mountains. Afterwards, treat yourself to a hearty breakfast at a local café.
Afternoon: After breakfast, embark on a whale watching tour, which is a highlight of Kaikōura. Experience the excitement of spotting sperm whales and, if you're lucky, dolphins and seals. Post-tour, indulge in fresh seafood at a waterfront restaurant, savoring the local cuisine and atmosphere.
Evening: As the sun sets, take a leisurely stroll along the beach, soaking in the tranquil ambiance of the coastline. Consider booking a hot pool session at the Kaikōura Hot Pools, where you can relax under the stars. Enjoy a peaceful evening before preparing for your departure in the morning.
