Donโt get overwhelmed by the iPad menu. If you only order 5 things, make it these:
1. Tomato Soup Base: The MVP. Itโs tangy, rich, and drinkable. Ask for "extra rich" (jia nong) if you like it strong.
2. Signature Shrimp Paste: It comes in a leaf-shaped tube. The staff will pipe it into the soup for you. It cooks into bouncy, fresh shrimp balls that put frozen ones to shame.
3. Kungfu Noodles: For ~$4, you get a show. A "noodle dancer" will whip the dough around your table (and your face) before throwing it into the pot. Great for the โGram.
4. Fried Beancurd Skin (Rolls): Dip this in the soup for exactly 3 seconds. It stays crispy but soaks up the broth. Addictive.
5. The Dipping Sauce Bar: DIY your own. Standard Singapore Hack: Soy sauce + fresh chili + minced garlic + coriander + sesame oil.
